What are “Cards” in the game of Soccer?

 

We often see during the game that on a foul, the referee showed a card to the player. Here is some elaboration for the game lovers and for the players in youth soccer club, that what means when a card shown to the player.

 

There are 2 colors of cards, one is "Red" and the second is "Yellow".  The referee has these cards in his pocket and if a player does any serious foul, he below whistles and stops the game.

 

In a kid's soccer club, the young players learn that how to avoid the fouls.

The card is intimation to the player, and the referee notes his name in his notebook.

 

The colors of the cards determine the fouls' nature and according to the offence, the referee shows the red or yellow card.
